Privacy Policy
1.In General
Interactive Parenting Technology, LLC, a Nebraska limited liability company (“we” or “us”) values our customers and respects their privacy. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs our collection and use of data in connection our website, our applications, and any services we offer (together, “KIPS”). Terms capitalized but not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning ascribed to them in our Terms of Use.
2. Collection of Information
KIPS is a parenting assessment tool used by service providers to assist families by providing resources to teach healthy parenting behaviors. In order to provide this service, we require that you provide us with certain personal information including your name, email address, contact information including address and phone number, and billing information. All information we have stored is acquired directly from you as our customer or general user.
We only collect that information which is adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for us to provide you the KIPS services. We do not purchase or otherwise acquire data about you from a third party.
3. How We Use Information We’ve Collected
We use information we’ve collected in order to fulfill our contract with you, to correspond with you, to assist you in placing an order or requesting an estimate, or to enable your use of the KIPS services. If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses for our own internal business purposes such as training. Occasionally, we may use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our website, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. You are free to opt-out of any such communications at any time. We do not sell your information under any circumstances.
4. Website Use Information
Similar to other websites, our site may utilize a standard technology called “cookies” (see explanation below, “What Are Cookies?”) and web server logs to collect information about how our website is used. Information gathered through cookies and server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our website, and the sites visited just before and just after ours. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with you as an individual, but it helps us improve our services.
Cookies
Cookies are a feature of web browser software that allows web servers to recognize the computer used to access a website. Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored by a user’s web browser on the user’s hard drive. Cookies can remember what information a user accesses on one web page to simplify subsequent interactions with that website by the same user or to use the information to streamline the user’s transactions on related web pages. This makes it easier for a user to move from web page to web page and to complete commercial transactions over the Internet. Cookies should make your online experience easier and more personalized.
5. How We Secure Information Transmissions
When you send confidential personal information to us on our website, a secure server software which we have licensed encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. The information is scrambled en route and decoded once it reaches our website.
Other email that you may send to us may not be secure unless we advise you that security measures will be in place prior to your transmitting the information. For that reason, we ask that you do not send confidential information such as Social Security, credit card, or account numbers to us through an unsecured email.
All information we collect is stored for the duration of our contract with you, or to provide you the services you have requested – such as a request for an estimate. Unless your contract is longer, we do not keep information about you for longer than two years.
6. How We Protect Your Information
Information Security: We use encryption/security software to safeguard the confidentiality of personal information we collect from unauthorized access or disclosure and accidental loss, alteration or destruction.
- Evaluation of Information Protection Practices: Periodically, our operations and business practices are reviewed for compliance with organization policies and procedures governing the security, confidentiality and quality of our information.
- Employee Access, Training and Expectations: Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
7. Your Rights to Your Data
We care very much about your personal rights to your data. To the extent we are storing your personal information, we promise to honor:
- Your right to be informed about the collection and use of your data, which is the purpose of this privacy policy.
- Your right to access your personal information collected by contacting us using the contact information below.
- Your right to correct your personal information if it is incorrect in our records, by contacting us using the contact information below.
- Your right to be forgotten, by requesting that we delete any information we have that can be used to personally identify you.
- Your right to object to or restrict our processing of your data, by contacting us and requesting that we limit our processing of your data.
- The right to move your data, by requesting of us a portable form of all data that we have that could be used to personally identify you.
- The right to be free from automated decision making and profiling. We do not make any snap judgements about you based on the information that is provided.

8. International Transfer of Information
IPT is located in the United States, and all data processing takes place in the United States. No information is transferred to a separate organization or individual, IPT retains control over the data at all times.
9. Disclosing Information to Outside Parties
We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
10. Legally Compelled Disclosure of Information
We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights. If there has been an inquiry in connection with an investigation or other proceedings opened by a court or other judicial authority, we will restrict your access to and right to delete any personal information we may have provided to the authorities in response to such inquiry.
